Those late to the party can download and play Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for free this weekend and then pick it up at a discounted price. The standard package is running $40 and the Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $54. The free weekend ends Sunday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific, with the sale going through Monday, February 25.

The Digital Deluxe Edition offers the Nuketwon 2025 and Nuketown Zombies maps, a digital copy of the Black Ops 2 soundtrack, and a digital copy of Call of Duty: World at War.

Treyarch have also announced a double XP event on all platforms from February 22-25, happening concurrently with the free weekend, ensuring that the game’s servers will be overflowing with players of all skill ranges.
