Sweet Tooth PSASBR

For those who purchased the PlayStation 3 version of the game you’ll have also been given the PlayStation Vita version at no extra cost and, most importantly – the chance of two Platinum’s.

The bad news however is that even though this is a Cross-Buy game, trophies do not stack. So unlike Sound Shapes where a trophy unlocked on one platform unlocks on the other, you’ll have to earn both trophies on both systems.

The good news though is that the Platinum’s aren’t difficult at all, even the online trophies aren’t too bad.

Friendly Competition

Complete a Versus Match against an online player

Simply invite a friend to a versus match and play the match to a finish. If you don’t have any friends to invite then simply leave a comment on this article and someone will help you with this trophy.

Tournament Fighter

Complete an online Ranked Match

On the main menu select ‘Tournament’ and then ‘Ranked Match’, select your character and complete and online game. It doesn’t matter where you come the trophy will unlock when the match is completed.

First Blood

Earn a Kill in a match-made online game

Perform a Super and kill an opponent during an online game.

Victorious

Win a match-made online game

Take part in an online game and win. Use your Super’s wisely and try to become useful with a single character to improve your chances. This should come naturally though.

Team Sweeper

Earn a Double Kill in a 2v2 match-made online game

Triple Kill

Earn a Triple Kill in a match-made online game

This Is Living

Win a match-made online game without dying

This is the most difficult trophy in the game. The best advice would be to keep as far away from your opponents as possible. You’ll need a little bit of luck should any of your opponents get a Level 3 Super but keep at it and you should eventually get through a match without dying.

Cole VS Fat Princess

The next section of your platinum hunt will consist of completing Arcade Mode with every available character. You will need to complete one playthrough on Legend difficulty but the rest can be completed on the easiest difficult – Hero. Each playthrough will take around 20 to 30 minutes meaning this section can take around 10 hours.

In Arcade Mode you’ll start off in free for all matches against 1, 2 and finally 3 opponents. You will then have a 4 player free for all match where the first to three kills wins. Next up will be a 1 on 1 match with your rival where three kills are needed to progress.

It’s here where you’ll meet the final boss and be involved in a 1 on 1 match and then two handicap matches, 1 v 2 and 1 v 3. In between these matches which all take place on the same stage you’ll have the opportunity to hurt the final boss. Defeate him to complete Arcade Mode.

Legend Mode is slightly tougher than Hero Mode but it’s really not that difficult to achieve.

Fundamentals

Complete the Basic Tutorial

As soon as you start the game you’ll be prompted to complete the tutorial. Simply complete the tutorial to earn this trophy.

Character Mastery

Complete a Combo Tutorial

Under the Tutorials section in Solo Play select the Combo Tutorial and then complete it with a character. You’ll be simply following the button inputs in order to complete a combo. Kratos is possibly the easiest one to follow.

Trial Combatant

Complete a Combat Trial

Combat Trial’s can be selected via the Solo Play menu. Only one is needed to be completed for the trophy and they are fairly simple to do.

Showing Off

Show off your Minion during a game

Once you reach Level 8 with any character you will unlock a Minion. Select a Minion from the Customise menu and when you kill an opponent your minion will pop up and you’ll have the trophy.

Two for One

Earn a Double Kill with a Level 1 Super Attack

Three for One

Earn a Triple Kill with a Level 1 Super Attack

For this trophy Two for One, Triple KIll and Team Sweeper the most important aspect is timing. Good Level 1′s to use are Ratchet’s and Raiden’s as they cover quite a decent area. If your three (or two for 2v2) opponents are in close proximity of each other hit your Super. Like most trophies it’s not difficult but can be just a tiny bit tricky but your chance will arrive eventually.

For the Triple Kill trophy you can actually use Level 3′s. Alternatively a good Level 2 to use is Good Cole’s as he sweeps everything on the same level as him the way he’s facing.

If your having difficulty then Practice Mode can be used to achieve Two For One and Three For One.

Win a Versus Match against a team of three AI opponents

This trophy can be achieved at the same time as both Overtime trophies. Set the Computer AI to it’s lowest setting, make sure they are all on the same team and set the match timer to one minute. Now just avoid your opponents to keep the score at nothing and go into Overtime, do the same again to go into 3x Overtime. Now during the 4x Overtime hit a Super and win the match against a team of three AI opponents.
