Capcom have announced that the PC version of Resident Evil 6 will include an exclusive new gameplay mode titled The Mercenaries: No Mercy, a more intense and more difficult variation on the fan favorite time-based survival scenario. No Mercy is touted to contain more on-screen enemies than ever before seen in a Resident Evil game. The PC version of Resident Evil 6 will be available digitally on March 22 in the U.S., with a European release scheduled for the same day both digitally and at retail. Ada Wong’s campaign will be available from purchase with the PC version, opposed to the console versions where it was unlocked following completion of the other three.

In addition, Capcom have announced new multiplayer DLC for Resident Evil 6 in the form on Siege Mode. A team of players will pose as creatures attempting to kill a rookie BSAA agent, while another team takes on the role of iconic characters from the game and tries to protect him. Players will switch between roles each round, with each game consisting of two rounds. Siege Mode will be available in March for 320 Microsoft Points, or $3.99 on the PlayStation 3.

Lastly, Capcom have confirmed that Survivors, Predator and Onslaught — three gameplay modes recently made available to owners of the Xbox 360 version — will be available to PlayStation 3 owners in February. They will be priced at $3.99 each. These additions will be included free on the PC, along with any future updates the game might receive.
